Hey John, with our first end-of-month deadline behind us, I wanted to send you a quick update on our numbers.

Unfortunately, we didn’t hit our goal.

But not by much -- John, we came up just $452 short.

I know this team can make up that deficit and start May off strong, so I really need to ask: Will you give $3 to our campaign right now?

John, I am humbled by the outpouring of support from our grassroots team in the first month of this campaign.

I can feel change coming to Central Ohio.

But if we are unable to compete with the Republican machine coming into our state, we may not be able to win.

That’s why we ask so often, John -- we have to work twice as hard to keep pace with the GOP's far-right dark money donors.
