Hi John,

Mary Gay is working hard to pass the American Jobs Plan, which, according to the latest polls, a “strong majority” of Americans support.

This bill will create jobs, catapult us into a green future, and help us recover from the pandemic. It will ensure that basic needs like housing, clean drinking water, and electricity are accessible to every American. It will redefine “infrastructure” to include things like childcare and prioritize racial justice.

This bill is a massive step forward in making life better for people here in PA-05 and across the country.

But Republicans in both the House and the Senate are staunchly opposed to this bill, even though a majority of Republican voters support provisions like affordable care for aging people and individuals with disabilities, living wages for care workers, and paid family and medical leave. GOP leaders aren't acting in the interests of their constituents -- so we need to take a stand.
