   Whether you fly, float, or travel by foot — gun laws still apply. You must comply with all state, federal, and local laws of any areas you cross into.
    
3. Identify a Way Out... 
   Any time you travel to a remote area you should identify potential emergency routes. You don't want to be looking for a hospital miles away from civilization with no cell service. 
    
4. Keep Your Weapon Secure and Accessible... 
   Your weapon type, and how you carry it, will depend on the situation you're in and the results you're looking for. This could be anything from a chest holster for hikes, to a gun safe in your RV.
