Redistricting is the next fight in the battle to protect our democracy. Gerrymandering is a key part of the GOP's plan to secure majorities in the House of Representatives and state legislatures for the next decade -- regardless of what the voters want.  They’ve already said they plan to use the power they hold at the state level to “secure a decade of conservative power.”  

Democrats are fighting hard against GOP attempts to corrupt our country's redistricting process. Former Attorney General Eric Holder led an effort just hours after the Census Bureau released new apportionment figures to file the first lawsuits of this decade’s redistricting process -- a preview of Kansas' litigation for a fair map. 

 

 

 

 

Kansas must mirror the work of former Attorney General Eric Holder and fight to ensure our redistricting process isn't overrun with Republican corruption. We must aim for fair maps so that voters can freely and fairly elect representatives to office.
