Jennifer Carroll Foy has a career of public service that started long before 2017. As a public defender, she helped give a voice to the often voiceless — children, people suffering from addiction, those experiencing homelessness, those with mental illness, and the poor.
In 2017, Foy flipped a Republican district as a first-time candidate while pregnant with twins.
During her time as Delegate, Jennifer Carroll Foy has championed the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment, helped expand Medicaid to 400,000 Virginians, and advocated for the Commonwealth’s most vulnerable communities.
