Dear Friend,

It’s been a decade since the federal minimum wage was increased. The current minimum wage is just $7.25 an hour even though the cost of living is at an all-time high.

A $15 minimum wage would give 40 million workers -- including 5.8 million Americans over the age of 55 -- much needed raises.

A $15 minimum wage would also increase contributions to the Social Security Trust Fund, increasing its long-term stability.
