The Hill: “Progressive groups are vowing to raise the heat on President Biden to cancel student debt, a priority issue for a number of Democratic lawmakers including Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer.”
The pressure is picking up for Biden to forgive up to $50,000 in student loan debt for borrowers, team. If Biden acts on one of his campaign promises, millions of Americans would see their debt eliminated overnight.
As Majority Leader Schumer pointed out, “You don't need Congress. All you need is the flick of a pen.”
