Remember the Young Rascals song, 'People Have to Be Free'? I like that song and I like freedom, but I'm worried about mine. President Biden wants the federal government to control pretty much everything in this country - policing, local education, firearms, pretty much everything. In 100 days, the President has proposed $6 trillion in new spending, as you know. Now, think about it, more people have to pay more tax to the federal government in order to fund all the plans - the Covid relief plan, the infrastructure plan, the family plan, the jobs plan. And not just those earning more than $400,000. Check your gas station, the price of gas in my town is up 80 cents a gallon since Biden came in. Groceries up about five, ten percent in my area. So, everything's going up - that's an indirect tax. |
