John --
My team and I spent this week shining a light on the new challenges we're facing this year. It comes down to this:
History tells us that next year's midterm will likely be tough for Democrats, and with California losing a House seat for the first time in history, our district lines could change.
But tonight I want to take a moment to reflect on the progress we've made these last few months.
I must say, it has been a huge relief having a President who doesn't hold a grudge against our state. The Biden administration has worked overtime to get shots in arms and money in pockets. Next, we're going to rebuild our communities and our economy better than before, and we're going to make transformational investments with the American Jobs Plan and the American Families Plan.
Our progress doesn't change the fact that next year is going to be tough -- possibly tougher than ever before. But you've been here for us through thick and thin, and I hope our campaign can continue to count on your support.
Are you able to dig just a bit deeper and help meet our increased $30,000 end-of-month goal with a $3 contribution before midnight? We're still coming up $4,789 short of our goal.
Our team will put all resources to good work building a grassroots campaign operation to contact more voters heading into next year's midterm.
