As the 2021 legislative session concludes, there is some positive news!

On Tuesday, the Florida House of Representatives passed House Bill 1307, banning unsolicited sales and robocalls. 

The average Floridian receives multiple telemarketing calls every day. In addition to being extremely annoying, these calls have exacerbated fraud, identity theft, and other criminal activities.

This legislation puts an end to the scammers and con-artists who've preyed on Floridians for too long.  

As a proud co-sponsor of House Bill 1307, I want to thank the bill's sponsor and my colleagues on both sides of the aisle for coming together to address this important matter.
