John,

Our 2021 fundraising has slowed, but our programs are just ramping up, with higher demand than ever.

Even with virtual training, the cost associated with putting together a cutting-edge curriculum with industry experts isn’t cheap — and it’s labor-intensive.

Our Boot Camp is wrapping up on Sunday, and we need to raise another $1,249 to fully fund this training.

I hate to pile on to your inbox, but I wouldn’t ask if I wasn’t concerned about how behind we are. Will you invest in Democratic women leadership by contributing $10 today? ([link removed])

Thanks,

Diane Le
Development Director, Emerge

John — I know Jill reached out about the Boot Camp that’s wrapping up in just a few days, but we still haven’t closed the $6,000 gap we are facing.

Our efforts throughout the next decade will center on recruiting more women from the New American Majority to run and win. Will you invest in Democratic leadership today by rushing a contribution to close this fundraising gap before the training ends? ([link removed])

Electing leaders of all backgrounds and identities is at the core of what we do because intersectionality is in our blood at Emerge, and our Boot Camps aim to change who has the training and tools to run and win.

Our alums are blazing trails, from Danica Roem in Virginia who was the first out transgender state legislator in the country to Secretary Deb Haaland, who is serving as the first-ever Indigenous Secretary of the Interior.

Our alums are reshaping what leadership looks like.

But our ability to continue to do this work depends on hitting our fundraising goals — even if there isn’t a national election — and right now we’re not on pace to cover training costs.

Will you rush a contribution today to make sure every leader who trains with Emerge has the resources they need to run and win? ([link removed])

This email was sent to [email protected]. Emerge is a national organization working to recruit, train, and get Democratic women elected across the country, and we are so grateful to have you on our team. Our alums are strong voices for Democratic values — and they are working to bring their values up and down the ballot to fight for working families. They are fighting for critical issues that affect our communities like the environment, accessible and affordable healthcare, social justice and education equity. We need more alums fighting for us across the country.

Email is the best way for us to keep you informed about what’s happening with our work. You may notice that we send a lot of emails asking for your support—that’s because we win when everyone does what they can to help. Our organization depends on thousands of actual people who care about our democracy and want to see positive change in our communities and across our country by building power through investing in Democratic women.
