This isn’t some political schtick. I’m *actually* calling people!
Earlier this week, I spoke with Gordon, a machinist from the Philly area who gave $20. Gisele hopped on the phone to thank him, too.
I left a message for Denise, a nurse from York Country, PA who pitched in $10 (shout out to York County, where I was born and raised).
And I enjoyed talking with Chris, a teacher from Elk County who donated $10. We talked about our campaign, and how beautiful rural Pennsylvania is.
John, I’m spending the final hours before our critical fundraising deadline by coming directly to you.
Instead of calling up rich donors on some consultant’s rolodex, I’m using my time to thank and acknowledge the people who *actually* make our campaign possible. That’s how important building our campaign the *right way* is to me.
