[1]Women's March
Hey, John — it's Kelsey.
I lead our finances at Women's March, and wanted to send you one final
(and kind of urgent) message before tonight's deadline.
Here's the good news: We've seen an uptick in donations since we launched
our end-of-month fundraising goal two days ago. Women's Marchers from
across the country have stepped up — many of them for the very first time
this year — to help us close the gap on our fundraising so we can keep our
most important organizing and training programs running.
But here's the less great news: With just a few hours before our deadline,
we're still tracking behind where we need to be. And we can't afford to
come up short, or we risk having to make difficult budget decisions about
funding our most important programs. Our top priorities like training
women organizers, defunding Ted Cruz, and combating GOP voter suppression
across the country ALL depend on us meeting our monthly fundraising
benchmarks.
[ [link removed] ]Will you make your first $3
donation this year to close the gap on our goal before
midnight?
[ [link removed] ]DONATE $3 →Women's March is proud to be a grassroots
funded organization. So whether you give a couple bucks, $15, or even $100
— your donation has the power to create a direct impact on what happens
next for our country.
We still have a few hours to reach our goal — and based on our average
donation of just $17.59, I wholeheartedly believe we can hit it if even
just 10% of the people who receive this email decide to pitch in. So I
have to ask you just one final time before midnight:
[ [link removed] ]Can you donate for the
first time this year before our midnight deadline?
Whether you can donate $3, our average donation of $17.59,
or even more than that, your contribution will help ensure our most
important Women's March programs can continue running strong.
Thank you for all that you do,
Kelsey
