John,
After a catastrophic 2020, Big Oil is bouncing back. Crude oil prices are substantially recovering, with Big Oil companies reporting the first quarter of 2021 as the strongest since the pandemic began.
The market is responding accordingly. Traders flagged Big Oil companies as a “buy” for investors who, last year, pulled out of fossil fuel stocks.
But here’s the deal, John: We can’t go back to the same old, same old. We know allowing Big Oil and fossil fuel companies to dominate the marketplace will doom our efforts to combat climate change.
That’s why our SEEC members of Congress are fighting for a sustainable recovery that advances a clean energy economy and environmental justice, all while creating good, family-sustaining jobs and growing economic prosperity across the country.
After the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, a Big Oil-led recovery is a recovery that will not transform our economy in the way we need to save our planet.
Hardworking American families deserve better. SEEC members of Congress are working closely with the Biden administration to implement a plan that combats climate change, builds a green economy, creates good new jobs, and puts money in the pockets of working and middle-class families.
John, will you step up today and show your support for SEEC members of Congress with a contribution? They need to know you’re standing with them! [[link removed]]
Thanks for standing with our SEEC members.
