Dear John,

During my tenure, investing in parks has been a top priority in my administration. Since 2015, we have rehabilitated nearly 100 public parks throughout the City. That’s because I know how precious outdoor spaces in our community can be for our families.

Earth Day serves to remind us all of our shared responsibility to sustain and help grow our natural resources for the benefit of our community and future generations. I’m proud of the hard work our Parks Department has undertaken to eliminate the use of chemicals in almost all instances in our Parks and greenspaces. This is not only great for the environment, but it means our children can play safely in these spaces without the risk of being exposed to harmful toxins.

I am overwhelmed by the positive feedback I’ve received and wanted to share the following letter with you:

“In reconnecting with nature, we could revive it” from the Boston Globe.

Please know how grateful I am for your ongoing support, I couldn’t do it without you!

Sending my warmest wishes for a wonderful weekend,

Jorge

John, it’s the last day of April and I would love for you to help us meet our fundraising goal tonight. Would you possibly consider a contribution of 10,20,30,40,50 or whatever is in your budget? Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
