Yesterday marked 100 days into President Joe Biden's term. In that time, we've accomplished a lot for working people, including passing further relief, expanding unemployment benefits, rushing support to small businesses, and re-entering the Paris Climate Agreement.
I know with President Biden backing the Democratic House Majority's efforts to fight and work for the people, America's best days lie ahead of us. But we still have a lot to tackle.
When President Biden addressed Congress on Wednesday, he called on the Senate to pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act. He detailed his plans to rebuild our economy with the American Jobs Plan. And he talked about his next steps for building our nation back better.
John, I want to be clear -- I plan to support the Biden Administration every step of the way. But here's the truth: Republicans are only FIVE seats away from taking back the House. If we lose the House majority, President Biden loses a strong ally in Congress. We can't let that happen, which is why I'm emailing today.
