Democrat,

As our country continues to grapple with issues like racial justice and police reform, we need our elected leaders to step up and lead these difficult conversations now more than ever. Just last week, Mayor Ras J. Baraka of Newark convened a conversation with some of the state's highest ranking Black elected officials in response to the Derek Chauvin guilty verdict.

Header: President Biden Update

President Biden made his first joint address to Congress this week where he celebrated the incredible progress his administration has made to combat the pandemic and support working families. The President also pushed for more congressional action on vital priorities like investing in our infrastructure and providing support to families. And he did it sitting beside two women serving in the positions of Vice President and Speaker of the House, something that has never before happened in our nation’s history.

Watch highlights from the President’s address here.

Thank you,

Chairman John Currie
