Thousands of Canadians from across the country took part in our 2021 Liberal National Convention, making it our largest policy convention ever. Volunteers and organizers across the country are making important check-in calls to Canadians during our Virtual Weekend of Action to keep hearing your priorities. We’ve nominated more than 150 Team Trudeau candidates across Canada. Thousands of Canadians have also already added their name to show support for this year's budget.
All of our progress counts on the support of Canadians like you, friend – and we can’t slow down for a moment. That’s why it’s so important that 3,337 Canadians have also already chipped in this month to help reach our ambitious $200,000 online fundraising goal – and there are only a few hours to go until our midnight deadline.
Reaching a goal like this one is crucial to the work that we are able to achieve together in the crucial weeks and months ahead. It means that we are able to continue to engage with Canadians on important issues, invest in smart digital technology and campaign tools, and stay ready to protect our progress whenever Erin O’Toole’s Conservatives work to roll it back.
And there is a lot of progress at stake! Progress like investing in the middle class and the most vulnerable, accelerating our work to fight climate change, funding early learning and child care, taking comprehensive action to protect people’s health and support Canadian workers, families, and small businesses, making historic new investments in public transit to strengthen our communities and create good jobs, and so much more.
