Mark your calendars! May 4 is GiveNOLA Day.
It's almost time for the 8th annual GiveNOLA Day. GiveNOLA Day is a 24-hour event hosted by the Greater New Orleans Foundation.
On GiveNOLA Day, everyone who loves New Orleans can help make it a better place by donating to local nonprofits. Last year's event raised $7.1 million through over 50,000 different donations. This year, the Greater New Orleans Foundation hopes to do even more.
Visit the FTNO page on the GiveNOLA Day website to donate. FTNO started as Mayor LaToya Cantrell's transition committee and has expanded into a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the people of New Orleans. The goal is to make the city a fairer, more inclusive place - a city of opportunity for all.
Donations to FTNO go directly to projects that help the people of New Orleans.Right now, FTNO is focused on helping New Orleans recover from the pandemic and rebuild stronger than ever. Your donations will make a huge difference in your neighbors' lives.
