"Supreme Court to take up Louisiana law limiting access of abortion doctors"
-- NBC, Oct. 4, 2019

John --

Earlier this week a U.S. District Court in Atlanta blocked Georgia's six-week abortion ban from going into effect. (Good news!) But now, the Supreme Court will be taking up the Louisiana law limiting the access to abortion services to just one doctor in the entire state of Louisiana.

Because Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell stacked the Supreme Court with right-wing, anti-choice judges, this court case could challenge and even overturn a person's constitutional right to reproductive health care in our country.

As Supreme Court Justices prepare to take their seats next week, Team DelBene created a short survey, so we can update Suzan on your thoughts about Republican control of the Supreme Court, the status of Roe v. Wade, and more.

Knowing your thoughts on these important issues will help Suzan better represent your interests in the other Washington. Will you take a few moments to fill out our brief survey?

It's obvious that conservative state legislators across the country are hoping the Supreme Court will greenlight their terrifying, unconstitutional legislation. But we can't let their maneuvers go unchallenged.

Abortion is a right, and laws like Louisiana's will only cause unnecessary harm when people -- especially women from low-income and rural communities and women of color -- can't get the medical care they need.

We have to fight back, and that is what Suzan is doing by defending Planned Parenthood and supporting policies like the Women's Health Protection Act.

Take a few moments to share your thoughts about the Supreme Court with Suzan DelBene.
