Preserve our history: Help save LGBTQ nightlife venues

Dear LGBTQ Nation reader,

With vaccinations well underway, it feels like we're finally moving towards a return to normal. But will your favorite LGBTQ nightlife venue still be around when it's time to celebrate this Pride season?

While many have already started to reopen, there are bars and clubs still struggling to stay afloat due to the pandemic. An outpouring of support has helped the GayCities #SaveOurSpaces fund get closer to reaching its goal, but there are still countless venues in danger of closing for good.

If you or someone you know operates an LGBTQ bar or nightclub that's been impacted by COVID-19, you can help them get critical, direct aid by sharing the instructions here .

For years, LGTBQ social venues have offered our community a safe space to gather. These venues have served as meeting halls, health resources, and art spaces. For many, they have been home. But now, these once vibrant businesses are struggling to stay afloat. Donate now or recommend a venue for a grant and help save LGBTQ nightlife spaces across the nation.
