Statement on the Tragedy at Mt. Meron

EMET wishes to convey our profound condolences to the families of the 45 loved ones who were killed in the tragic events on Mount Meron, Israel, last night.

We know that no amount of words can ever heal the gripping pain in your hearts. We are all stunned by the reality that, in an instant, what should have been a joyous celebration became a horrific human tragedy.  

To all those left behind: We pray that the memories of your loved ones shall be as a blessing, and that you will be comforted among the mourners of Zion.
