Biden is adopting a far-left, far-fetched, extremist agenda                                                                                           
Hi Friend,
President Biden’s first address to a Joint Session of Congress painted the perfect picture of life under the Biden administration.

The chamber room was mostly empty, “warring camps” stayed on their respective sides, and Congress could not have been more disjointed.

Biden ran his campaign on a message of “unity;” but 100 days in, he’s governed on division. His agenda has done more to tear us apart than bring us back together.

Rather than building bridges (literally and figuratively), Biden’s building walls. And it’s all too ironic, considering he froze building the wall at the border to control the completely inhumane and unmanageable crisis caused by his counterproductive immigration policies.

In Senator Tim Scott’s hopeful, yet realistic, rebuttal, he touched on something we here at Independent Women’s Forum strive for: finding common ground to deliver common-sense solutions. ([link removed])

That’s what our country needs so desperately right now.

As Senator Tim Scott said, “Our nation is starving for more than empty platitudes.”

It’s time we stood and said: Mr. President, platitudes are not policies.

Platitudes don’t pay the bills.
Platitudes don’t open schools.
Platitudes don’t keep businesses operational.
Platitudes don’t keep our streets safe and borders secure.

While Biden’s adopting this far-left, far-fetched, extremist agenda—as though we live in some sort of utopia—we’re all just trying to get by. The pie-in-the-sky ideas, “empty platitudes,” and “woke” virtue signalling are NOT what we need.

This mentality is crushing Americans’ morale at a time when we need to elevate it. His address wasn’t hopeful. It was depressing…. and terrifying. And it proves how crucial our organization—and our mission—is.
