Last night, President Biden put forward a bold agenda to rebuild our economy, defend our democracy, and root out systemic racism in policing.
We are fast approaching the one year anniversary of George Floyd’s murder, and as President Biden said, it’s time for us to pass the police reform bill named in his honor.
However, Fox News is going all out to attack President Biden, me, and anyone else who supports fighting racism. That’s why we need to fight back.

Our bill ensures accountability for violent police officers, bans the chokeholds that killed George Floyd and Eric Garner and no-knock warrants that killed Breonna Taylor, deters racial profiling, increases transparency, demilitarizes our police force, and requires greater use of body cameras.
Furthermore, it calls for new training programs for our police forces on de-escalation and prohibits problematic officers who have been fired or left an agency from simply moving to another jurisdiction without accountability.
