Good afternoon,
In his Wednesday night Joint Address to Congress, President Biden recognized the progress we're making to recover from this pandemic and laid out his vision for building back better. From millions of shovel-ready infrastructure jobs, to long-overdue childcare and paid family leave, to more tax relief for working families, I am eager to work with both Democrats and Republicans to pass that plan into law.
But right now, I'm also on the frontline of just a five-seat majority in the House, and one of only seven Democrats representing a district that also voted for Trump last year. The Cook Political Report's latest analysis suggests Democrats could lose 3-4 seats to redistricting alone next year. NJ-03 also moved further right in their partisan voter index.

We simply can't afford to lose the House in 2022, just when we're making progress again -- and I know my work in Congress to build a better future is far from finished.
That's why my team set a goal to raise $9,000 from our grassroots donors before midnight tonight. That's money we will use to reach even the reddest parts of this R+3 district -- making sure they know that I will work with the president and my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to answer the call and meet this moment.
