This week, we learned that Oregon will be getting a Sixth Congressional District!

This is great news for Oregonians, and it means that the stakes of the 2022 midterm elections in Oregon just got even higher, because we know national Republicans will throw everything they can at the race for Oregon's new Sixth District while trying to flip at least one or more of our current Democratic-held seats.

We're not taking anything for granted, and we’re ready to fight to make sure we earn the votes of Oregonians in every single ZIP code across our great state. But that starts with you, John: If you're able, will you chip in before our midnight fundraising deadline? [[link removed]]

This is the first time in nearly 40 years that Oregon will gain a new Congressional District.

Oregon’s continued growth over the past decade is proof that Americans are voting with their feet, and are excited to live in a state where Democratic leaders turn our shared progressive values into action, from voting access, to reproductive rights, to tackling the climate crisis, and so much more.

This week's announcement is just the start of what will be a challenging race to elect a Democrat to Oregon’s Sixth Congressional District. But we’re excited for the opportunity to send another Democrat to Congress who will fight for all Oregonians, and work with President Biden and Vice President Harris to help America recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and build back better than before.
