Big thank you to Anne Kohut and all of the senior members from the disability justice community standing up for the dignity of those living as residents in Portlands' public housing. We hear your demands for stronger policy for public safety and accessibility.

We stand with you and appreciate the ongoing invitation to connect and organize. We’ve had great turnouts recently and thank our hosts and their neighbors for the willingness to engage with us about your concerns in our city.

Thank you to ‘We Are the People’ for inviting Teressa to come out and share her platform on the New Green Deal and what it means for our future here in Portland. The amazing LaRhonda Steele supported an impromptu #DieIn at Terry Schrunk Plaza in support of the youth led Climate Strike.

Singing Billie Holidays’ ‘Strange Fruit’ at Teressa’s request, it was a powerful moment that brought us all closer to the reality of environmental justice.
