New FEC reports show that Arizona Rep. Paul Gosar hired a prominent white supremacist to help his 2020 re-election strategy -- and he's keeping him on for 2022.
Noel Fritsch, who proudly defended Gosar as “the first Congressman to stand up on January 6th to object to Biden's bogus electors,” is an expert in amplifying right-wing extremists -- in 2017, he gained notoriety for supporting a “white power” candidate who promoted the deadly Charlottesville rally.
We're not surprised Gosar is using a white nationalist to protect his seat next year. From telling the Oath Keepers to prepare for a “civil war” to serving as the keynote speaker at a white nationalist event in February, Gosar has retained his power by appealing to right-wing fanatics while flying under the radar in Congress.
Gosar is not just one of the five Republicans we're targeting with our Insurrectionist Knockout Fund -- he's at the top of our list.
We don't need to mince words on this, the evidence is clear. A white supremacist has been setting policy in Washington for over ten years -- and he'll stay right where he is if we don't do anything about it.

It won't be easy to unseat right-wing incumbents this cycle -- but there's a lot we can do if we get ahead early. We can recruit progressives to run against the most powerful right-wing GOPers in the House -- and make them viable candidates by supporting them throughout the cycle.
