We have big news to share.
The U.S. Census Bureau just announced that California will be losing a seat in Congress, and our state's nonpartisan redistricting committee is tasked with redrawing congressional districts.
CA-04 will almost certainly change, and we have to be ready to pounce. Our electorate is growing faster than anywhere else in the state. The voter registration gap is closing. And Tom McClintock's FEC report just confirmed how little enthusiasm there is for his brand of divisive partisanship in our changing community.
He only got four donations from folks in the district. But he does have a lot of support coming from DC special interests that exist to prop up weak incumbents willing to sell out their constituents. That's Tom McClintock.

If you missed Tom's FEC report, you're definitely going to want to keep reading.
Here's the deal: A whopping 75% of his quarterly fundraising came from the Take Back the House Committee, a partisan fundraising group that props up weak incumbents (and with only four donations from the district over a four month period, Tom definitely falls into that category).
That's in addition to support he got from both Rep. Jim Jordan -- best known for peddling "the big lie" about election fraud -- and a DC special interest group focused on ending collective bargaining and lowering wages for America's essential frontline workers.
We knew Tom McClintock didn't have many friends backing him up, but this? This is who he has in his corner? Oof.
Friends, as an incumbent, Tom should have broad support from across the district. But he doesn't, and it's because of his failed leadership, time after time. Can you chip in $4 or more to flip CA-04 next election? We only have 4 days left until our fundraising deadline.
