That’s the amount I am humbly asking you to contribute ahead of our April fundraising deadline tonight.
I know that our team has sent a number of emails about this deadline in recent days — no doubt about it. But the fact is that the vast majority of the money we raise to power our movement comes from lots and lots of supporters like you making small-dollar contributions when they can.
That’s a fact I’m incredibly proud of — but it also means I have to ask:
As we speak, the fossil fuel lobby is hard at work trying to put a stop to our tremendous momentum for taking serious action on the climate crisis and making the Green New Deal a reality.
We saw in his speech to Congress earlier this week that President Biden and his administration have committed to combating the climate crisis — but the truth is that our movement’s work is far from over.
What we need to do in the months and years ahead is keep working, keep fighting, and keep pushing to ensure that President Biden’s plans to take on climate change are big, bold, and match the scale and magnitude of the crises we face.
I’m going to continue leading the fight for environmental justice in the Senate, and keep building our movement nationwide. But to do that, I need you alongside me.
