Our monthly fundraising deadline is tonight, and I want to take a moment to let you know why your contributions are so important.

Before my election in 2018, Republicans held this seat for almost half a century. They are desperate to take it back in 2022, and they are already saying that this seat is one of their top targets. Outside groups spent millions of dollars on ads attacking my campaign and me last year, and now they are already back at it -- they have been running attack ads against me and phone banking into our district.

By contributing anything you can today, you make sure we can withstand these attacks and pay for the critical elements of our campaign. To win, we will need a great team, literature for canvassers, digital ads, TV ads, and eventually an office where we will again bring our community of volunteers together!

Our grassroots network has always been a core part of our strategic advantage. Today, can I count on you for a contribution before our deadline?
