Hi, John — it’s Emma Brown, Mark’s Campaign Manager.

I know you’ve heard from Mark, and our Finance Director, Lily, but I wanted to reach out because we need your help to hit our April fundraising deadline before midnight tonight.

Our goal is to get 35,000 contributions, and I was looking over the numbers this morning and we still have a little bit of work to do to get there — 1,019 donations to be exact.

Hitting this goal is so important because just this week a Super PAC pledged to spend $10 million to defeat us in next year’s Arizona Senate race.

So it’s safe to say we can’t afford to fall short of this goal. Mark needs our help to hold this seat. So here’s the part where I ask:

If you are able, will you make a $3 donation to our people-powered campaign? We can’t afford to fall short of this goal, not when National Republicans are already planning on spending millions to defeat us.
