After months of delays and excuses, Biden finally gave his first address to the Joint Sessions of Congress. In what was an appropriate omen, the halls of Congress were half-empty (in the name of “safety,” I’m sure). The official ratings from the event are not yet in. Although we can be safe in assuming they won’t be great. But the response from the American people is already in. And Joe might be better off not looking.
