John

In the 86th Legislative Session we saw over 90 bills passed that advanced goals listed in the Platform of the Republican Party of Texas. We still have some work to do to get three of those over the line. On November 5th, there is a Constitutional Election where Texans will be asked to vote on Ten Constitutional Amendments - THREE of which achieve victories for our Platform!

Proposition 4 [[link removed]] - “The constitutional amendment prohibiting the imposition of an individual income tax, including a tax on an individual’s share of partnership and unincorporated association income.” Proposition 5 [[link removed]] - “The constitutional amendment dedicating the revenue received from the existing state sales and use taxes that are imposed on sporting goods to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the Texas Historical Commission to protect Texas’ natural areas, water quality, and history by acquiring, managing, and improving state and local parks and historic sites while not increasing the rate of the state and use of taxes.” Proposition 8 [[link removed]] - “The constitutional amendment providing for the creation of the flood infrastructure fund to assist in the financing of drainage, flood mitigation, and flood control projects.”

We need you to grab everyone you know and encourage them to get out to

vote FOR these three propositions

during Early Voting - October 21st - November 1st or on Election Day November 5th!

Not registered to vote? Make sure to register by Monday October 7, 2019 for this important Constitutional Election. If you have not registered to vote, it is not too late...yet! You can access the Voter Registration Application by clicking here [[link removed]].
