Hello — Michigan Republicans aren’t wasting any time in their effort to unseat Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

Twice-failed Senate candidate, John James, launched a new super PAC to prop up Republican candidates who will be loyal to his pro-Trump agenda.

That's not all — a new report from The Detroit News suggests James is thinking about jumping back into politics by running for statewide office. Again.

​​​It's clear Michigan Republicans are already gearing up for the battle for the governorship. On top of James' super PAC flooding candidates with cash, Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel is said to be considering a run for governor, too.
