Republican Legislation Focused on Political Points Not Oklahomans

OKLAHOMA CITY — House Minority Leader Emily Virgin, D-Norman, released the following statement after House Resolution 1026 passed the House.

The legislation creates special rules that allow the House to hear and pass legislation past legislative deadlines and exempt certain bills from rules that ensure transparency. The rules were created to pass legislation in response to federal executive orders. Read more...

2021 STATE CONVENTION JUNE 12TH

In preparation for State Convention and party organizing, VAN accounts for party leadership will be turned off after May 1st so that the data team can reset accounts. The data team will contact individuals after State Convention with instructions on the next steps to set up accounts. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Qualifying delegates of the Oklahoma Democratic Party will meet virtually on Saturday, June 12th for the 2021 State Convention. The Convention will include the casting of votes for the Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, and State Affirmative Action Officers which will make up a portion of the Oklahoma Democratic Party Central Committee.
