Friend,
This week, over 50 registered Republicans announced their support of my re-election. I'm honored to have their support, and the support of many others of all parties across the city. In my first term, we've taken a common-sense, nonpartisan and collaborative approach to governing, and it's delivering meaningful results. As we keep moving towards Election Day, I'm excited to continue growing this coalition of Democrats, Independents, and Republicans ready to continue building a stronger Manchester.
Thank you for your continued support!
Best,
Joyce

I had a great time knocking doors last weekend! I was lucky enough to have Mr. Perich as a teacher at Memorial, and now he's running for school board in ward 8. We even met a fellow Memorial grad along the way. Go Crusaders!

I had a wonderful time cutting the ribbon on Phuoc Dien Temple on Sunday afternoon.
With increased classroom space, new gardens and an updated space to worship, this space has ensured it will be a place for the community to gather for years. I'm was glad I was able to attend -- it was a fantastic experience.

I'm glad I was able to cut the ribbon on your new office, Northwestern Mutual!
Northwestern Mutual has been in Manchester for over 120 years, so it was great to see their newest space in the heart of downtown.
ACERT Roundtable

Thursday afternoon, I joined Congressman Chris Pappas and community partners to discuss Manchester's innovative Adverse Childhood Experiences Response Team (ACERT).
By responding to families, especially children, in the wake of violence and connecting them to the appropriate trauma-informed services, ACERT is helping to save lives.
The ACERT partners are huge assets in our community, thank you to everyone involved!
YWCA and ORIS Grant for Transitional Housing

On Thursday, I was honored to join YWCA New Hampshire and the Organization for Refugee and Immigrant Success to announce they had received $450,000 in federal funding to launch a transitional housing program for homeless survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.
Cases of domestic violence, sexual violence and abuse against women and children happen across the country all too often. YWCA and ORIS are dedicated to creating opportunities and making a positive impact in our community. And through their work, this grant will place survivors into safe, affordable housing — removing barriers that once existed and allowing them to achieve independence.

Mayor Craig wins support of more than 50 Manchester Republicans
More than 50 Manchester Republicans publicly announced their support for Mayor Joyce Craig in her bid for re-election. The initial list of endorsers includes 56 Manchester Republicans from all 12 wards, as well as notable Republican business owners from surrounding towns. (See list below).
“I’m grateful to have the support of Democrats, Independents, and Republicans from across the city,” said Craig. “In my first term, we’ve brought common sense problem-solving to City Hall, and that means bringing everyone to the table to get things done. Between improving our schools, bringing new businesses and high-paying jobs to Manchester, and taking a collaborative approach to combating the addiction epidemic, we’ve shown that meaningful progress happens by working together.”
“In her first term, Mayor Craig has done the hard work required to make our city stronger,” said ward 2 resident Lucien Trudeau. “I have full faith that Mayor Craig will always put Manchester first, and in a second term will continue to be effective helping the city reach its full potential.”
“Mayor Craig is willing to set aside differences in order to get things done,” said ward 3 resident Adele Baker. “She’s welcoming to diversity of ideas, cultures, and beliefs, and it is refreshing and inspiring to have a mayor like Joyce Craig who works in a collaborative and inclusive manner to accomplish great things for Manchester.”
