The first-quarter fundraising numbers for the Virginia governor’s race are in, and they are stark -- Republicans have outraised us 2-to-1.

All told, the GOP has jumped out to a nearly $9 MILLION lead in fundraising for Virginia’s next governor’s race. And if they can take back the governorship, they’ll roll back all of the progress we’ve made. From voting rights to affordable health care, our Democratic agenda is on the ballot this November.

We need your help to keep Virginia blue -- make a contribution and help us reach our $20,000 goal before our end-of-month deadline at midnight TONIGHT.

The Republicans know that a new president’s first midterm is their best chance to strike back. They’re going to throw everything they’ve got at Virginia, and it’s up to us to defend the progress we’ve made.
