Great news!

Last week, the New York State Young Democrats (NYSYD) executive board voted unanimously to re-charter ([link removed]) the Brooklyn Young Democrats as the official Young Democrats of America chapter in Kings County.

This victory is a testament to your commitment to making BYD the powerful force that it is. Young Democrats in Kings County will not be intimidated into supporting candidates who fail to advance a progressive agenda to make our borough a more prosperous, inclusive, and just home.

This weekend, the re-chartering will be made official at the NYSYD annual convention, which will take place online this year. You can view the convention schedule ([link removed]) and agenda ([link removed]) now. The Zoom links to different sessions are in the scheduling and agenda documents. We encourage our members to attend. This is an excellent opportunity to hear from and network with other Young Democrats across the state!

There has never been a woman elected to the 33rd Council Seat or the Brooklyn Borough President's office. Join the BYD Women's Caucus to tell voters about the opportunity to make history in June.
