Right now, India is being crushed by a rapid second wave of COVID-19. In just a matter of weeks, confirmed cases skyrocketed from 15,000 to more than 350,000 each day.
Devastatingly, these numbers are likely much higher and only tell part of the heartbreaking situation on the ground. Hospitals are stretched beyond capacity. Too many patients are turned away when seeking lifesaving medical care. Oxygen and critical supplies are running out.
