Legislative maps will be redrawn this year in every state across the country, impacting every single person in the United States. Gerrymandering is still a real problem in many states, with politicians remaining unchecked as they draw maps that advantage their own interests over those of the voters.
It’s essential for us all to build momentum on social media about why redistricting and Fair Maps matter to us.
That’s why we’re organizing a social media day of action to raise awareness about fair redistricting in 2021—#OurFairMaps Day.
We’re inviting YOU to participate! Will you join us on Friday, April 30, by sharing a 1-minute selfie-style video on social media? Post your video on April 30 using the hashtag #OurFairMaps, and share why fair redistricting matters to you.
