John,
In a recent study Voto Latino conducted with Change Research and Media Matters for America, we found something alarming:
51% of Latinx respondents said they did not trust the COVID-19 vaccine to be safe (67% for those whose primary language is Spanish).
A huge contributor to this widespread distrust of the vaccine is disinformation, which is why Voto Latino established our Anti-Disinformation Lab. It’s also why I’m coming to you today, John. Will you contribute to our ongoing efforts to root out disinformation?

These lies -- explicitly targeted at Latinx voters -- are a threat to our communities. But we’re meeting a strong threat with a stronger response. Voto Latino’s Anti-Disinformation Lab will help protect our communities and the country, ensuring that our families and friends will never again be victimized by unchecked lies.
Voto Latino’s recent study is only the beginning of a large-scale bilingual message testing campaign run through our Latino Anti-Disinformation Lab. This campaign will be the first and largest campaign of its kind, targeting communications to the 12-15 million Latinxs in the U.S. who haven’t been vaccinated yet.
This mission is critical. By stamping out disinformation, we can get more shots in arms -- and save lives. Please donate to our work.
