Your dedication to serving preborn children and their moms continues to amaze me. And today, I have some more good news to share with you…
A few days ago, you received an email from my colleague Lori Szala letting you know about a One-Day Matching Grant of $10,000 pledged by a generous donor. This grant was on top of the $175,000 Matching Grant that is already available. Together, that meant all gifts given on April 27 up to the amount of $10,000 made TRIPLE the lifesaving impact to rescue even more children from abortion.
I’m excited to share that in just one day, champions of life like you gave $17,398 toward the one-day Matching Grant goal. When combined with each of the grants, the total lifesaving impact from this one day of giving was $44,976.
Isn’t it humbling to see what God can do when pro-life warriors like you and me band together and advance His Kingdom? Because of you, and many more like you, THREE TIMES as many moms will be reached with the hope and help they need this Mother’s Day. And THREE TIMES as many children will be rescued from the horror of abortion.
Thank you so much for your support! This growing coalition of men and women dedicated to praying and giving financially in order to rescue more children and families is truly inspiring!
But the reality is… there is still more work left to do before Mother’s Day.
So, I just want to remind you that through the $175,000 Matching Grant opportunity, YOU can still make DOUBLE the lifesaving impact to expand the National Rescue System — rescuing more moms and preborn children from abortion.
When I think about Mother’s Day, there are two individuals that come to mind immediately: my amazing wife, Kirsten, and my mother.
My wife has given birth to our seven beautiful children. My mother gave birth and raised me and my five siblings. They’ve both sacrificed so much. They are both tremendous models of the love and grace of Christ.
As a dad and a son, it’s important for me to find ways to give back and serve these incredible mothers. And to teach our kids the importance of doing the same.
And as we approach Mother’s Day this year, I think about moms facing unexpected pregnancies who may not have a support system around them. They may not have a loving mother in their lives to help them and be a role model. They may not have a supportive man in their lives to serve them and come alongside them.
Tragically, when they have nowhere else to turn, many of these moms turn to Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry. That is why expanding the National Rescue System is so critical.
