Here’s the work your contribution is funding:

 1. Preparing for a tough re-election in 2022: Our race was one of the
most expensive races in the country last year — Republicans spent more
than $10 million trying to unseat Alexandria. As she continues to use
her voice in Congress to fight for progressive change, we can expect
next year’s re-election to be another massive and expensive race
funded by wealthy special interests, so we need to start raising
resources now to prepare.

 2. Building resources to make local and community-focused impact: When
two massive fires broke out in Jackson Heights, Queens, we were able
to raise over $28K for community members and small business owners to
rebuild. And when the establishment leadership left the new
progressive leadership in Nevada’s Democratic Party without a penny,
we were able to raise over $26K to build back their reserves.

 3. Passing progressive policies: Alexandria joined Senator Markey and
their colleagues last week to re-introduce the Green New Deal. In
order to get policies like the Green New Deal and more passed, we need
to show our fellow legislators that their constituents demand
progressive change too. With your help, we can organize and strengthen
the grassroots movement behind our key policy priorities in Congress
so that we can win some big legislative victories this cycle.

Alexandria can’t do this work alone. She needs a movement alongside her.
And when we receive enough support from small-dollar donors to hit each
and every monthly goal, we can carry out our full strategy to expand our
movement and enact progressive change in the years to come.

We still have a significant gap in fundraising to fill before tomorrow's
