On Wednesday, we set a goal to raise $100,000 for Larry Krasner in 48 hours.
He’s going up against a modern-day supervillain in Philadelphia — Carlos Vega — and his police union backers. And needs as much help as we can muster in order to win.
The good news is that, thanks an incredible show of grassroots strength by you, we CRUSHED that mark with room to spare.
Unfortunately, that puts us in a real tough spot now. We have been throwing everything we’ve got at this fundraising goal for Larry, and our own fundraising has fallen behind.
With an end of month deadline fast approaching (tomorrow at midnight), we need to pick up the pace and close this gap. So much of our work depends on the small-dollar support we get from emails like this one.
All across the country, police unions and right wing groups are spending MILLIONS to defeat our endorsed candidates, and slow down the movement we’re building.
Hitting these fundraising goals is ESSENTIAL to overcoming this opposition. We don’t have mountains of cash to throw around, but we have you. And we’re so appreciative of that.
