With our end-of-month deadline tomorrow, our interns did a little research into the Q1 FEC reports, John.
They noticed something we thought you should see, too:
John Fetterman for U.S. Senate reported $1,904,755 cash on hand in Q1. "Cash on hand" is how much money a campaign has left in the bank.
Also in Q1, a GOP candidate running for this Senate seat reported $1,127,047 cash on hand. 🤔
We’ll state the obvious. The next time our campaign is required to make our fundraising results public in FEC filings like these, it’s critical that we report more cash on hand.
Look, giant Republican super PACs and shady dark money groups are already poised to dump *enormous* sums of money into Pennsylvania and hold on to this Senate seat.
That’s why we must strengthen our campaign early, John. After all, cash on hand is the first thing reporters and our opponents look for as a sign of our campaign’s strength.
