During the weeks of intense mobilization and international organizing before President Biden's Leaders Summit on Climate last week, we joined the call for Biden to make a choice: the Amazon or Bolsonaro.

In the end, President Biden heard our message and chose the Amazon rainforest.

Despite Bolsonaro's abysmal environmental track record, he was included as one of the Summit's 40 global leaders. But contrary to recent speculation, Biden did not announce any deal with Bolsonaro.
