Friend,

It’s official -- California will lose one Congressional seat due to redistricting. While it’s too soon to tell exactly what this will mean for our district, it could have huge implications for the upcoming 2022 midterm elections -- so I need your help right now. Will you rush in a donation to ensure that I don’t lose my seat, and with it, my chance to fight as your representative in Congress? <[link removed]>

Last month, I wrote to you about this year’s redistricting process in California -- every ten years, following the completion of the U.S. Census, the boundaries of California’s Congressional and State-level districts are redrawn to accurately reflect changes in the state’s population -- and now, we know that those changes have resulted in one less Congressional seat.

What we don’t know, however, is exactly how the districts will be redrawn, and due to the extended census deadline in response to COVID-19, this process will take longer than usual -- which means we’ll have less time than we normally would to reach new potential voters.

That’s why we’re ramping up our efforts now, connecting with Californians who may soon become prospective voters and constituents in the next election cycle so they know who we are and what we stand for. Donate today so that we can get our message out and start preparing for 2022! <[link removed]>

Best,

Ted
