In the closing hours of the 2021 legislative session, Tallahassee Republicans revived their hateful, divisive, and discriminatory ban on transgender girls competing in girls' sports.

The bill even includes birth certificate requirements that could penalize adopted children.

Every Democrat stood in solidarity with the trans community by forcefully opposing the majority's latest attempt to marginalize LGBTQ Floridians.

However, the bill passed on a party-line vote.

If signed by the Governor, this legislation will not only have a detrimental impact on trans youth -- it will also negatively affect Florida's economy as the NCAA and several businesses have warned of retaliatory measures.

You can help by calling the Office of Governor DeSantis (850) 717-9337, demanding he let kids play by vetoing HB 1475.
