John --

Tucker Carlson is doubling down on his claim that Democrats are trying to use mass immigration to change the electorate in order to win elections. It's a good thing we have Congressman Ted Lieu fighting back against this flagrant white nationalism.

Last week, Republican Congressman Scott Perry took to the floor of the House of Representatives to parrot Carlson's “replacement theory” talking points. In response, Congressman Ted Lieu tweeted this:

Tweet from @tedlieu reads: "Dear @RepScottPerry: Native-born Americans like you are no more American, and no less American, than an immigrant like me. And with every passing year, there will be more people who look like me in the US. You can’t stop it. So take your racist replacement theory and shove it. https://twitter.com/pbump/status/1..."

Tucker Carlson tries to present himself as a guiding light in a fog of lies perpetuated by the mainstream media, but he knows exactly what he's doing. He is radicalizing his millions of viewers and fostering an environment where hate crimes and violent attacks against immigrants and minorities are on the rise.

ASPIRE is dedicated to electing Asian American and Pacific Islander leaders like Ted Lieu to office. Our mission is all the more critical when the alternative is people who follow the lead of Tucker Carlson.
